About Us
CAMSOLA celebrates the voice, life, and soul of SoCal’s Cameroonian, African, and African-American communities.
Founded in 2006, CAMSOLA is both a social club for native Cameroonians and Cameroonian-Americans living in Southern California as well as the home organization to the amateur soccer team of the same name.
With a diverse membership, CAMSOLA members share a proud heritage rooted in Cameroon. Our members have various professional backgrounds, trades and tribes making CAMSOLA a unique thread in the fabric of SoCal.
CAMSOLA works to engage and educate the greater community about Cameroon as well as to provide quality representation for native Cameroonians and Cameroonian-Americans living in SoCal. Working with SoCal’s collective African community, CAMSOLA advocates for legislation on issues that benefit Africans and African-Americans living in Los Angeles and California.
In addition, an important part of the CAMSOLA tradition is to give back to the communities that we serve both here in SoCal and back home in Cameroon.
CAMSOLA welcomes African-Americans who have traced their African ancestry back to Cameroon and invite all African-Americans to learn more about Cameroon.
2011 will mark the 5 year anniversary of CAMSOLA and the innaugural launch of the CAMSOLA Youth Development Scholarship Fund and CAMSOLA Youth Leaders Club.
Mission
CAMSOLA is dedicated to improving the knowledge and understanding of Cameroon and providing network opportunities for Cameroonians living in Los Angeles and SoCal.
Vision
To create a worldwide Cameroonian community with responsible and forward thinking leaders.
