About the Scholarship Fund

2011 marks the launch of the Annual Camsola Youth Development Scholarship Fund benefiting outstanding young Cameroonians living in Southern California in grades 10-12.

Each year, Camsola will select two students to receive scholarships each towards their educational goals.  In addition, candidates selected will be asked to join Camsola’s Youth Leaders Club  which will be provided professional mentoring.

Eligibility Requirements, Process and Instructions

All young Cameroonian students living in Southern Californian and enrolled in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grades in high school can apply.

Candidates should show an excellent or increasing improvement in their academic record, involvement in sports or other extracurricular activities, community involvement, special skills or talents and leadership potential.

All Cameroonians by birth, naturalization, with at least one Cameroonian parent, or whose family has traced their roots through African Ancestry to Cameroon can apply.

Complete the application below by the November 20, 2011.

Camsola’s Scholarship Selection Committee will review all applications and conduct make phone interviews with the four finalists by November 30, 2011.

The four finalists will be selected as pioneer “Camsola Youth Leaders” and will be invited and recognized during Camsola’s 2011 Annual Awards Dinner and Gala where the two winners will be announced.
